Today we begin Milton's Paradise Lost, a poem of epic proportions because it is an epic.Read through as much as possible today and finish on block day. As we read: observe and record similarities between Milton's Satan and Shakespeare's Don John in order to prepare for a THICE. Consider the villains' motives, words, thoughts, attitudes, actions, dwelling-places, victims, and arch-enemies.
