Tuesday, 8/26 - This is ONLY a test

• Today we will take the STAR test. Below are the instructions (Please take this test seriously; if you don't, it can backfire on you down the road).

• Tap on the STAR app on their iPad 
• If you do NOT have it, go to the App store and search for "Renaissance Learning"
• To connect, type in MVCS-13YR

• Enter username: usually the first letter of the your name followed by the first four letters of your last name. 
• i.e. John Smith: JSMIT
• Residents students use their birth name (NOT their American name)
• If there are fewer than four letters in your last name, then your username will be the first letter of your first name followed by your entire last name, i.e. QWU
• If you have the same username as someone else, one of you will have a 1 after your username.
• i.e. If there are two John Smiths, one would be JSMIT1

• Enter password: password or PASSWORD (not case sensitive)

• Select “STAR Reading”

• Tap “Next”

• Tap “Start”

• If you are asked for the Monitor Password, enter Te@ch13

• Continue TGD presentations
