- GUM: study that sonnet! I would recommend making a recording of the sonnet, reading it how you want to recite it, and listening to that thing over and over and . . .
- Let me know if you are going to be absent from class the day of the recitation because another class requires it; you will have to come to another one of my classes then to recite it.
- Lit: before I have you discuss "The Destructors," I'd like to read one more very short story and then let you discuss both stories with the time remaining.
